Octavia’s Note to Self

I LOVE THIS! It is a reminder that (1) we must set our intentions clearly, (2) we should write them as if they are already realized, and (3)  that God and the Universe, or whomever you acknowledge as your Source, is awaiting a sign that you are ready to accept and receive the abundant blessings that they have in store for you. So be it! See to it!

Blessings, Lydia

By taking the time to stop and appreciate who you are and what you’ve achieved – and perhaps learned through a few mistakes, stumbles and losses – you actually can enhance everything about you. Self-acknowledgment and appreciation are what give you the insights and awareness to move forward toward higher goals and accomplishments. ~ Jack Canfield

Today, I needed something that brought out the child in me. I hope that after you read this short poem, your inner “child” will come out to play. lkw

Snowball

I made myself a snowball
As perfect as could be.
I thought I’d keep it as a pet
And let it sleep with me.
I made it some pajamas
And a pillow for its head.
Then last night it ran away,
But first it wet the bed. ~ Shel Silverstein

What if you gave someone a gift, and they neglected to thank you for it – would you be likely to give them another? Life is the same way. In order to attract more of the blessings that life has to offer, you must truly appreciate what you already have. ~ Ralph Marston
