Happy World Water Day! It is all around us, and just like nature in general, it is not afforded the reverance that it deserves.
Did you know that the average human baby is 78% water weight? After the first year, that same baby’s water weight drops, and over the years, it varies based on numerous factors like age, weight, sex, water intake and more.
In addition, about 71% of the Earth’s surface is covered by water. Today, when you turn on that water faucet to run a bath, take a shower or to fill a glass of water, remember to pause and express gratitude for a resource that most of us take for granted. It is a limited resource that our very actions have seriously depleted. As a result, in parts of our country and the world, people do not enjoy clean or adequate amounts of water.
Ask yourself, what can you do to ensure that there is enough of this precious resource for everyone, and to help repair the damage that we have done that is causing its depletion?
Have a great week!
