Quotes. Made in notepadEnhanced by ZemantaImage via Wikipedia

It is my opinion that so many of our leaders or those considered as public figures, think nothing of manipulating facts in such a way that it serves their purposes. The final truth of the matter is irrelevant. In all too many cases, the public is fed “facts” that are either down rights lies or at best, half-truths. I think that the following quote may speak to and explain a  reason for a great deal of the divisiveness in our society.

“There is no class of people so hard to manage in a state, as those whose intentions are honest,
but whose consciences

are bewitched.

 ~Napoleon Bonaparte
What do you think?  I’d love to hear your thoughts. Blessings and love, lydia

We have at the present moment everybody claiming the right of conscience

without going through any discipline whatsoever

that there is so much untruth being delivered to a bewildered world.

Truth is not to be found by anybody who has not got a sense of humility.

If you would swim on the bosom of this ocean of Truth

you reduce yourself to a zero. ~Mahatma Gandhi
