Earthy Browns & Greens

Earthy Brown & Green

On this beautiful Spring day, I see the ubiquitous color green, in the abundant plants and trees all around me, as well as, the rich brown of the soil that feeds and nourishes the plants that produce the food that we eat and the beautiful flowers that we enjoy. Brown is a predominant color on the planet, along with green. Brown is comforting and stabilizing, while green is balancing and rejuvenating, just what we all need to help us deal with the stresses of modern life. What a meaningful color combination.

Happy TGIF!

Yay, it’s Friday! For most people, they’ve been toiling the week away toward the light at the end of the tunnel
— Friday. So whether you spend the weekend reading a good book, jetting to some fun destination, hiking in the woods, spending time with family and friends, doing nothing, or however you choose to spend your time, enjoy it, appreciate it, and have fun doing it!

Beach Weather Is On Its Way — Really!

Beach Weather Is On It's Way

By now in Texas, the calendar may indicate that Spring has yet to spring, but the weather is most definitely that of Spring-time. This year is different. It was in the 30’s days ago, tomorrow it will be in the 80’s with sun-shiny skies, and who knows what the following day will bring. Although the weather keeps fluctuating, I have no doubt that In no time, beach weather will be a mainstay, and we can pack away the coats, gloves, scarves and other cold weather garb, in favor of shorts, flip flops and tees. I am waiting with bated breath.

Flowers for you, and you, and yes, you.

Flowers for you, and you, and you.

“Flowers always make people better, happier, and more helpful; they are sunshine, food and medicine for the soul.” ~ Luther Burbank

I created this collage with you in mind. May these flowers feed your soul as you go through your day.
