This is my photo for week 9 of The 52 Project. This week’s photo is one of D. D., one of my beautiful g’children loves posing for the camera. In this photo, although she is wearing her own dress, she is wearing her Mom’s high-heeled boots, and makeup that she bought with her own money at the Dollar Store. She adores the books and she even wore them in her school talent show in which she performed a crowd-pleasing rendition of “These Boots Are Made For Walking.” In this photo, her confident stance, reminds me that my little baby is in fact a beautiful, little girl with a mind and style of her own.
