I don’t know where this comment has been. but it just showed up in my box. I guess that it was floating around in internet land. I am sorry for the delay.
Why am I not surprised that you like St. Francis. 🙂 I think that my favorite saints are St. Michael, St. Anthony (who being the patron saint for lost objects, I call on almost every day), St.Thérèse of Lisieux, St. Jude, and St. Francis. One of the greatest benefits of my upbringing is knowledge and belief in Saints and Angels.
Haha, beautiful Lydia, that happens to me with comments, too! It’s awful! I totally know what you mean. The WordPress gremlins, lol.
Love St. Francis, in fact I’ve got a statue of him right here with me now. I love that you have such knowledge of saints and angels, I really love hearing you share about those you are close with, all your special saints and angels. I love that. You inspire me.
Hope you are doing well, beloved, I think of you daily and send light and love your way! 😉
You are right, I love the Angels and saints and higher beings in general like our spirit guides. They bring me comfort and confidence that whatever trials I am experiencing, they are beside me. I can’t imagine not knowing that peace in the midst of chaos. They serve as my icons of hope.
My statute of St. Francis is outside my front door; so, it greets everyone who enters our home. Also, my son’s middle name is also Francis. I love that you connect with him as well. I also have a statute of St. Genesis, the patron saint of gardeners and the Black Madonna. Recently, I began pulling oracle cards from three decks: Mother Mary, St. Michael and Archangel Raphael. It is eerie how the cards coincide with what is going on in my life right now.
Now a trivia question: Did you know that Archangel Gabriel is one of the patrons for writers? He/she seems to be a kindred spirit for you. 😉
Wishing you love, joy and peace, dear One. Blessings, ❤️ and 🙏, Lydia
